Hey SG! I think you are great and love your work. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t get into your audio only show. I’m sure doing audio only is much easier and takes less time to produce, but if I don’t have video then I end up doing something else while trying to listen and I really don’t end up listening.
You don’t even need to edit the video or add any transitions or effects. Just a suggestion. Thanks for listening.

Boy, on the one hand I wish I could join you for the whole Phelps thing. On the other, I can’t guarantee that I wouldn’t cross the line into violence. I still remember when my family and I went to the Columbine memorial, and we saw those people across the street from us as we were walking. My grandmother was so upset it triggered an asthma attack (not the last health problem that would be brought on by Right Wing douchebaggery either; the mere sight of Dubya makes her blood pressure shoot up; a doctor literally told her she shouldn’t watch C-SPAN anymore). Those people are just a special kind of evil. I’m an Atheist, but I hope that there actually is a Hell, and that there is a special wing of it reserved for these WBC fuckers.

Great show … new listener here. Westboro Baptist mainly protests heterosexual soldiers’ funerals though … they see the Fed Govt as the new Sodom and Gomorrah so all agents of the State are evil. I only want to point this out b/c a lot of people in the military are pretty homophobic themselves and might take issue with being posthumously dubbed gay. The military did do away with don’t ask don’t tell this year … that’s right, you can be openly gay in the military now. The military is conservative but it values pragmatism more than anything … take that fuckin WBC knuckle draggers.

Yes, you’re right. The WBC protests the funerals of homosexual soldiers mainly. I didn’t have my facts straight but I figured, fags are the people they hate, right? So those are the people they protest, right? Little did I know, the enablers are the real threat. And yes, Sebastien, that’s us! You can tell by the look on my face, I’m pissed. The knuckle draggers never showed up! I guess I should have been happy the people I was there to protest never appeared but I wasn’t. I was ready for a fight!
