SoccerGirl, first, I love ya. Just know that. Because, as is par for the course of human nature, I’m going to do what you did to Penn and respond to the parts where I think you’re full of it.
First, did it ever occur to you that someone might think about the whole government education thing, have thought about it for years, and researched the issue, and still disagree with you? Is that possible? I’ve written quite a bit about it on my website. Tell me I haven’t researched the issue and thought about it!
Second, Michael Moore is a douchebag on the order of John Edward. You cannot excuse how he deliberately lied about how he go the gun from that bank in Bowling for Columbine, for example. I don’t care which side of the gun control debate you’re on—even if you’re on the side of gun control, and you excuse his deliberate prevarication just because he agrees with you, what the hell is wrong with you? People interviewed by a documentarian at least expect to be represented honestly, but Moore doesn’t do that.
Okay, enough ranting…Phil Plait is totally awesome! TAM6 was the best one yet. I can’t wait to see your other videos on it!

SoccerGirl rocks. Once she says it, it’s true. Whatever I believed before must change, because SoccerGirl (by her own admission) is, in fact, God.
Plus, Michael Moore has done more to rid the world of the scourge of the Big Mac by negative example than Morgan Spurlock can ever hope to.
But then Penn is the voice of the Buzz Lightyear advertisment in Toy Story, telling me about Buzz’s karate chop action. So who am I to believe?
