Hey Soccergirl,
On the whole taking a break, making a video podcast, doing something new and more structured thing:
Makes sense to me. I love the show, but I can definitely see where it’s hard to get sponsors for it (probably part of why I love it). If the goal is to make a (paying) career from podcasting – which is pretty freakin’ cool – then I think you should go for it.
I’ll be excited to see the new show!

Thanks for the comments, guys. As I mentioned in this episode, much of the reason I want to start a new show is because I feel like I need more structure and predictability to build this ephemeral empire into something more solid. Also, I’m really missing the interactivity of the early days of Soccergirl, Inc and I think this new format is going to get people excited and involved… at least that is my hope. The change is much more about that stuff than it is about getting sponsors, though that would be nice too, of course.
And then there’s the vacation! Yeehaw!
