I hate talking on the phone. It makes my ear extremely sweaty and everyone knows that can lead to swimmers ear. I heard of someone who got it that way one time. Or I heard of someone one time who got it that way. Both are true. In addition to Soccergirl, Incorporated I also participate in another podcast entitled “Showgirls” with six other lady podcasters. Most of the time Showgirls is a “what are you up to” “what do you think about this new internet thingy” type of show. But every now and then there will be something new, something totally explosive, something that really highlights the different social or religious or political points of view of all of us girls (and I can say that because I am one). These are the Showgirls moments I live for and on the most recent Showgirls episode we had one. The topic? Unions. This is a topic that’s near and dear to my heart. What can I say, I care about worker’s rights. So I was ready to cluck my way through a touchy feely exploration of solidarity with the writers of America when, much to my surprise and delight, my fellow Showgirls piped in with some virulent anti-union mumbo jumbo and, well, it really ignited in me a fire of indignation on behalf of my hard working brothers and sisters of letters. I forgot all about having to take a shit, I’ll tell you that much. I hope you enjoy this good natured ribbing. No hard feelings ladies! But seriously, the last thing unions are is ridiculous. Also, UK Johnny with some good natured ribbing of his own, a new part freestyle part regular song and a pledge drive update. I love you!
